Sometimes we bypass the feeling human being behind the struggle for our rights in community, in our work and within our homes. When we're at it long enough, fighting the good fight, we become 'walking bones' or just gears cranking as we face and overcome challenge after challenge. The moment of power, I've found, comes from the courage to release as we face the worst but even more profound is our compassion when we recognize ourselves in eachother's pain.
