Community Arts
Spring 2019

So proud to join the Down Jersey Folklife Center at WheatonArts and Cultural Center for the Homebound Folk Arts Program, which brings traditional arts to local South Jersey residents who are unable to attend arts events due to disabilities or health issues. Along with fellow artists Mark Boardley, Sr. and Romaine Street, Jr., I am taking part in creating custom workshops that share traditional Haitian and indigenous Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape art practices.

Thanks so much to Dr. Iveta Pirgova, Director of the Down Jersey Folklife Center (Millville) for the opportunity and Valerie Vaughn, fellow singer / songwriter and program administrator at the Jersey Shore Folklife Center (Tuckerton) for your guidance.
